What should I do after having expired temporary tags?

All that the DMV wants is its money from the license fees. So, heres what to do: Write down your License Plate number (Or have a copy of your Title) Have enough cash to pay the fees for the past 2 ~ 3 years (DMVs dont like credit cards due to the interbank fees) Give them your name, the License Plate Number & ask to pay for current & fees in arrears Once they take your money, theyll issue new tabs Its that simple PS. Minnesota answer. Thats exactly what I did (after getting stopped). Then I went to court to explain the Summons. The Judge? You paid? Me, Yes Sir! The Judge, Anybody who comes into my court to challenge a late payment deserves a break, Case Dismissed! Me? I scooted out real fast with a Thanks, Your Honor. So, keep the vehicle off of public roadways, go to the DMV, pay the fees, get new tabs, and youll be just fine! Now about that motorcycle in my garage that hasnt been road registered in 12 years? The Minnesota DMV figures, Oh Well! Just come in & register it for the current year! Im thinking about it. Enjoy!
