How do I extend a temporary license tag?
Why would you do that? The whole idea of a temporary tag is to show proof of purchase until you receive your real license plate. The temporary gives you time to register your vehicle. You have a limited amount of time to properly register (pay all the fees) with DMV. Failure to register is a violation of the law.
